Paradise Is Calling - Essie Resort Collection
Oh Essie, you've got me again! This is the epitome of an impulse buy, I was being really sensible in Boots and getting things like deodorant and shower gel when I spied the latest Essie Resort Collection and before I knew what was happening it ended up in my basket. Oops. I'm pretty sporadic in my nail painting tendencies and often the same colour stays on there for a good 10 days until its chipped to buggery and I'm forced to take it off. It's a bad habit, I know, but one I find difficult to shake.
Anyway, this collection really is right up my street colour-wise; with everything from a cool coral to a nearly-naked nude, Essie really have outdone themselves with this one. Kicking things off we have Under The Twilight, a really rich, smokey plum. I love how intense the colour pay off is with this one and as a fan of darker colours, I know this one will be getting plenty of wear from yours truly. Next up we have Find Me An Oasis, which I wore for the entirety of my holiday to Greece (more on that later!) and with good reason. This icey pastel blue is perfect for the warmer climates, I love how it enhances my tan and is almost blue but also almost white - thumbs up from me! It's no secret that I love all things coral come summer time and Resort Fling is the perfect mix of peach and coral - a really really pretty shade that I think will look especially good on toes. Finally we have a more grown up shade, Cocktails and Coconuts is a welcomed addition to my steadily expanding collection of nudes, I am yet to wear this one but it will no doubt be love at first coat, like the rest of the Essie Resort Collection - I'll keep you posted with that one!
Are there any shades you guys have been particularly loving lately?
